By Craig Revelle - Finish Line Web DesignAfter a breakthrough season in 2011 with a feature win at Brockville Ontario Speedway, and a top 10 finish in the overall DIRTcar Sportsman tour, Jessica Power is and the Power Motorsports team are very excited about getting back to racing in 2012.
The team has added Gananoque Chev-Olds, Len Corcoran Excavating, South Eastern Mechanical Inc. and Finish Line Web Design as new marketing partners for the upcoming season, joining the teams existing sponsors such as John’s Your Local Grocer, Speedy Auto Service, Star Diner, Great Chow Express, Stover Bus Lines, Glen Gould Estate Construction, Jackson Lawn Care and Property Maintenance and Bicknell Racing Products.
“We are thrilled to add new sponsors to our program for 2012”, says Power. “We had a good season in 2011, and with the help of these great sponsors I am confident that we will be even better this coming year”.
The team plans to race at Mohawk International Raceway on Friday nights this year. Their Saturday night track has not yet been determined. The Power Motorsports team will also follow the DIRTcar Sportsman tour again this year. Their first race for 2012 is set for Saturday, April 7th at Canandaigua Motorsports Park.
“As a team, we will decide over the next few weeks as to where we are going to race on Saturday nights”, ads Power. It is a difficult decision, as we love racing at both Can Am and Brockville. With both tracks racing on the same night this year, we have some careful decisions to make”.
Power Motorsports will also launch their brand new website over the next couple weeks. The website will be designed and maintained by Finish Line Web Design, and will include information on Jessica and the team, regular press releases during the 2012 season, photos, links to our sponsor websites and much more.

While the first race of the season is still several weeks away, the Power Motorsports racecar will be on display at the Frontenac Mall in Kingston, Ontario from March 22 to 24th. The annual racecar show at the mall is the unofficial kick off to the season.
